Camerawork shots and angle

  1) Pick  three  camera   shots  from the Doctor Who scene and explain what type of shot it is and what meanings or effect they have on the audience. Establishing shot - At the end it showed the setting of the scene. It shows to the audience where the people are.  Medium close - up - Through out the scene the camera was medium close up it was only showing the actors facial expression. This was showing how the actors react to the though the scene.  Two shot - In the scene two of the actors where together and it was a medium close up.    2) Pick  one  camera  angle  that is used in the scene and explain the effect it has on the audience.  At the end it was high angle it was showing around the whole setting. 'Mise-en-scene: Stranger Things analysis'

Costume: The character at the start is wearing a white lab coat. This suggests to the audience that he could be a scientist or a doctor. The kids were wearing old fashioned clothes and have long hair. This shows that this was set in olden days. Lighting: The lighting in the scene is turning on and off.  In the basement there was only one light.  This suggests to the audience that they are trying to create a horror scene and create suspense to scary the audience.  Setting: At the start, it is set in a hospital, in the middle of the scene, in a basement, and at the end, in a forest.  Props: The boys uses bicycle. Uses a telephone to call someone but it didn't work. He also uses a gun at the end but he wasn't able to since the monster was behind him.  Actor placement/movement/expression: The man at the start looks terrified and the boys seemed happy playing until one of them left to go back home. The boy looked really scared at the end since the monster was chasing...
